Event Description

Join Woody the Woodpecker for Summer adventures at this outdoor parent & toddler group at Sutton Ecology Centre! 

Take time to explore nature with your toddler as they gain confidence through activities and woodland walks. Watch the tadpoles grow their legs! Plus weekly stories, woodland walk and snacks. Suitable for preschool confident walkers up to 5yrs. The group is entirely outdoors, and there is a mud kitchen, so wear suitable clothing! There is a toilet with changing facilities available, and a shelter if it rains.

The group is weekly on Fridays 1:30-3pm ( although feel free to arrive and leave 15mins early to fit in with school pick up).

Ticket price is for a block of 5 weeks:
Friday April 24th, May 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd.

Book tickets for children only.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds on weeks missed. Please note there is no pay as you go option.

Notes & Requirements

Important safety information: This course is an outdoor event (which will go ahead regardless of the weather) and walking conditions may be slightly muddy, and the weather unpredictable, so please make sure you and your child wear suitable clothing and footwear. The event is in a nature reserve, which means that there are the occasional stinging nettles and brambles, we advise that you and your child wear long trousers or leggings to minimise stings and scratches. There is also a higher risk of insect stings such as wasp or mosquito, if your child is allergic to stings, please ensure that you have their medication. You are required to stay with your child throughout the event and are responsible for your childs' behaviour and safety. Please take care not to disturb or damage any of the habitats, plants or animals living at the nature reserve and never touch or feed the foxes or ducks.
